Mini Jam Tarts

I made a feast out of jam tarts lately which my mum made. They taste incredibly good as they melt in your mouth and manage to fill your heart with warmth. That is a bit exaggerated, fine, but it's true! The pastry is so soft, feels like short sugar cookies but without the access sugar around them. Well instead they have either strawberry or raspberry jam in the middle. They are just decadent. :)

These are the ingredients:

For the dough:
400g self raising flour
100g butter
100g sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg

And then just ad the jam as you like it.
